Spicy Chicken Samosa Recipe

Enjoy the bold and fiery flavors of these Spicy Chicken Samosas. Made with a savory chicken filling, they’re a perfect appetizer for any occasion.
Note: Adjust the spice levels according to your preference by adding more or less chili powder.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 8 sheets spring roll pastry
- Water for sealing
- Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

Prepare the filling
Step 1:Heat oil in a frying pan. Add onions and sauté until translucent. Add garlic, ginger, and cook for a minute. Add shredded chicken, green peas, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool. Add fresh coriander leaves and mint leaves, and mix well.

Assemble the samosas
Step 2:Take a sheet of spring roll pastry and cut it into half. Fold one half to form a cone shape. Fill the cone with the prepared chicken filling. Use water to seal the edges. Repeat with the remaining sheets and filling.

Deep fry the samosas
Step 3:Heat oil in a deep fryer or frying pan. Deep fry the samosas until golden brown and crispy. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
