  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 12 samosa wrappers
  • Oil (for frying)

  • Mixing bowl
  • Frying pan
  • Slotted spoon
  • Paper towels

  1. Prepare the apple filling
    Step 1:
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Mix well to coat the apples evenly. Stir in the chopped walnuts.
  2. Assemble the samosas
    Step 2:
Take a samosa wrapper and fold it into a cone shape, sealing the edges with a paste made of flour and water. Fill the cone with a spoonful of the apple filling. Seal the top of the samosa by folding and pressing the edges together. Repeat this process for the remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. Fry the samosas
    Step 3:
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Carefully add the samosas to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, turning them occasionally for even cooking. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried samosas from the oil and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  4. Serve the samosas
    Step 4:
Serve the sweet apple cinnamon samosas hot. You can sprinkle them with powdered sugar or serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful dessert option.
