Indian Meat Seekh Kebab Recipe
This Indian Meat Seekh Kebab Recipe will guide you in making juicy and flavorful kebabs that are perfect for any occasion.
Note: Soaking the skewers in water before grilling will prevent them from burning.
- 500 grams ground meat (beef or lamb)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 4 skewers
- Mixing bowl
- Grill or stovetop griddle
Prepare the meat mixture
Step 1:In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, finely chopped green chilies, fresh cilantro, garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, vegetable oil, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Shape the kebabs
Step 2:Take a small portion of the meat mixture and shape it into a cylindrical kebab around a skewer. Repeat with the remaining mixture and skewers. Make sure the kebabs are firmly packed and evenly shaped.
Cook the kebabs
Step 3:Heat a grill or stovetop griddle over medium heat. Place the skewered kebabs on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are evenly browned and cooked through.
Serve the kebabs
