Ingredients:

  • 500 grams minced beef or lamb
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg

Supply:

  • Skewers
  • Mixing bowl
  • Grill or oven

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the kebab mixture
    Step 1:
In a mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green chilies, fresh cilantro, garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, bread crumbs, and egg. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Shape the kebabs
    Step 2:
Take a small portion of the kebab mixture and shape it into a long, cylindrical kebab around a skewer. Repeat with the remaining mixture to make more kebabs.
  3. Cook the kebabs
    Step 3:
Grill the kebabs on a preheated grill or cook them in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-12 minutes, turning them occasionally, until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.
  4. Serve the kebabs
    Step 4:
Remove the cooked kebabs from the skewers and serve them hot with mint chutney, sliced onions, and naan bread.
